Who runs it
HÄST operates this system and decides who may use it. Questions about your data, or a request to remove it, go to info@hast.gr.
What we keep about you
- Your account. Email address, display name, team and role. Nothing else about you as a person.
- How you sign in. Either a password, which we never see because it is held by our authentication provider, or your Google account, which tells us only your email address and name.
- What you do in the system. Uploads, edits to metadata, shares, deletions and restores are written to an activity log, with your email and the time. You can read your own in Activity. This log is how we answer «who changed this and when», and it is the reason a mistake can be traced and undone.
There is no advertising, no profiling and no third-party analytics or tracking script anywhere in this site.
The media itself
Original files live on HÄST storage and, where needed for playback, copies live in Cloudflare R2 with European jurisdiction. Previews and thumbnails are generated by our own machines, in our own office. Material is visible only to the teams that are allowed to see it; the permission is checked on the server at every request, not hidden in the interface.
Cookies
One cookie, for your session, so the system knows you are signed in. Your browser also remembers small preferences locally, such as your last view. No cookie here follows you anywhere else.
Sharing outside the system
A share link gives whoever holds it access to the files chosen for it, until it expires or is revoked. Links are unguessable and every share is recorded with who created it. Treat a share link as you would treat the files themselves.
How long things stay
Deleted material goes to a recycle bin for seven days before it is removed for good. Accounts stay until an administrator removes them. The activity log is kept so that the history of the archive remains readable.
